Description

The Tualatin Watershed Improvement Grant (TWIG) awards up to $5,000 for projects that promote conservation within the Tualatin River watershed. This grant program allows us to amplify our mission by supporting other groups in Washington County.

We award grants on a competitive basis until annual funds are depleted. Funding is typically provided on a reimbursement basis. When feasible, direct payment of expenses can be arranged to reduce financial strain on the grantee.

Eligibility

TWIG applicants must be one of the following:

  • Nonprofit organization

  • Native American tribe

  • Educational institution

  • Government agency

*Please note: as of April 2025, for-profit businesses are no longer eligible to apply for this grant program. If your business hopes to pursue a conservation project, please contact us to hear about other avenues for support: info@tualatinswcd.org.
